PART (Participatory Acknowledging and Responsible Team) is a structured children’s parliament program designed for school students to simulate democratic processes in a classroom or school setting. It fosters active participation, leadership, and responsibility among young learners, particularly aligning with educational goals like those in teacher training and student development programs.
PART builds on global children’s parliament models by creating a student-led “parliament” where children aged 6–18 elect representatives, debate school or community issues, and propose solutions. Participants take roles like prime ministers, ministers, or committee members, mirroring real governance while emphasizing acknowledgment of diverse voices and responsible teamwork. This hands-on approach equips students with practical democracy skills in a safe, school-based environment.
